Essay Writing Workshop - Summer 2012

There will be a workshop conducted this summer for law graduates taking the Ohio Bar or a similarly structured state exam; 30 mins per essay with 3900 character limit.  The purpose of the workshop is to provide a format for students to get sufficient practice to significanly improve his or her essay writing skills. Students will type online 2 essays daily (Monday through Friday), followed by assessment of three essays written by peer and a self assessment. Students will use a detailed rubric for doing the assessment.  

Professor Vernellia Randall will be facilitating the workshop.  She will not be doing any individual tutoring or feedback. This workshop is intended to be a supplement to your bar review activities and your school's bar passage activities.

The cost of the workshop is $250.

$100 will be refunded if the participant  completes 90% of the essays and assessments and  provides us with the notice related to their performance on the bar.
